It’s Official

They officially declared that our economy is in a recession. I don’t know who “they” are, but I think they are a couple of weeks late on this one.

...and it started last December. I want the job of the person who pronounces events a year late and gets paid for it. Is that like the opposite of a psychic?

I found out that the buruea has to wait for two quarters before they can classify anything as a recession. By the time they write and submit the report, we are a year out from when it began.

Alas, the time table makes sense.

I kept thinking that the "they's" were all overreacting, yet I too concede defeat. This recession is actually affecting me. One forgets that when their income is solely based on what people are spending, that their income in definitely affected. Be thankful all of you with job security and salaries.
